Ingredients:

 

Stoneground organic spelt flour

An ancient grain with a nutty taste and more protein than wheat. Believed to be tolerated better by people who are sensitive to wheat.

Blanched Almonds

We have used blanched(skin removed) almonds, as the skin of raw almonds is high in lectins that are poorly tolerated by most humans.

Grassfed whey protein

100 percent pure grassfed whey protein is one of the most bioavailable complete proteins.

Green Banana

Rich in resistant starch and pectin, which are filling, improve digestive health, and help lower blood sugar levels.

Flaxseeds

High in protein, but as it is plant based, not as bioavailable as the whey, mostly used for flavor and texture.

Bicarbonate of soda

Adds the sodium and helps make the flapjacks more fluffy (most premixes come with “raising agent” we believe bicarb of soda is far healthier and safer option.

Grassfed Gelatin

Made from 100 percent grass-fed gelatin, this is used to help hold the batter together to ensure an easier cooking experience. Most premixes opt for xanthan gum, this is an industrial gum that is only cleared for human consumption in small doses, again we believe that gelatin, a by product of cow bones, with proven health benefits, is a healthier and safer option.

This graft paper bag is FSC certified. It does unfortunately have a plastic liner. The bag is recyclable. This is not a pouch we would like to use long term, we have added a glass option to allow the consumer to decide.
